Parkour Resource Kit

An innovative approach to teaching movement at Key Stage 3 and 4. This resource was written by Paul Dodd and Denise Lee from Shrewsbury School Sports Partnership. Following the appointment of coach Paul Dodd, Shrewsbury SSP used Parkour as an exciting new activity to fulfil the requirements of the National Curriculum. The Partnership won the Davies Sports sponsored, Youth Sport Trust National award 2008 for creating a new activity to engage the needs of young people. As a result this curriculum resource has been produced to support the delivery of Parkour in schools. This resource is endorsed by the Association of Physical Education, YST and Parkour UK. It contains illustrated resource cards and a DVD which give step by step instructions and techniques for legitimate Parkour moves, delivered in a safe and supervised environment.
